When I was 18 months old, I officially became my parents’ daughter. Legally that is. Because the truth is, in their heart I was their daughter the moment we met. The rest was just logistics.

This is why my work with adoptive families feels serendipitous. It feels like I’ve come full circle. 

Eight years ago, I began making adoption films. I spoke with birth mothers about what they want to see and what they don’t. I held a focus group to establish a formula that works and it does. Nearly every family I have produced a film for has adopted. 

And every time one of my families brought their baby home, a part of me felt, and still feels unbelievable joy to be so lucky to be a part of helping to build a family. 

Five year years ago, I took a break from producing films to focus on my own family.  But I have really missed working with adoptive families and after a ton of introspection I am ready to jump back in by offering a limited number of films.

These 2-3 minute films are so close to my heart. Each film is $600 and will include:

Pre-production meeting to craft storyboard and shot list.

Up to 2 hours shooting on location. 

Post production editing and music license.

2 rough cuts: first cut is SOOC to approve film scenes and titles and second cut is color corrected and incorporates changes based on feedback from first cut, if any.

Finished film delivered via Dropbox and uploaded to one streaming platform with integrated links and SEO.

Family photos for profile to be shot during filming and delivered via Pixieset.
